ABOUT / 2026
I built ICG
from inside
the work.
Not from theory. Not from trends. And definitely not from a consulting playbook. After more than two decades inside transformations, acquisitions, integrations, systems implementations, and businesses under pressure, I kept seeing the same thing.
THE PATTERN
The plan usually wasn't the problem.
Making it work was.
That became the foundation for ICG.
What I saw repeatedly
Different companies. Different industries. Different problems. Same failure patterns.
01
01
Clear strategy
Unclear ownership.
02
Good plans
That couldn't survive real operating conditions.
VALUE LEAKAGE
03
Decision stalls
Decisions waiting on decisions waiting on decisions.
04
Stretched teams
While complexity kept growing.
05
Governance
That existed — but didn't actually govern anything.
Value rarely disappears all at once.
It leaks quietly through delay, confusion, rework, bad handoffs, and decisions nobody quite owns.
ICG EXISTS TO STOP THAT.
Then the problem got bigger
AI is creating a new version of a very familiar operating problem.
02
Businesses aren't waiting for an enterprise AI strategy before they start using AI. People are experimenting now. Teams are buying tools. Agents are being built. Processes are changing — faster than the organization can establish ownership, standards, governance, or even visibility into what's going on.
The technology is different.
The execution problem isn't.
SOMEONE STILL HAS TO DETERMINE
What belongs — and what doesn't
Who owns what
How decisions get made
How the work gets delivered
Whether any of it creates value
That's why AI belongs at ICG — not because we decided to become an "AI consultancy," but because operationalizing AI is operating-model work.
Why I built ICG this way
ICG wasn't designed to advise from the sidelines. It was designed to get close enough to the work to see what's actually happening — then create the ownership, structure, decisions, and operating rhythm needed to move it forward.

MORE
Execution
Different problems. Same operating discipline.
04
How I work with clients
Clients don't hire me to impress the room. They hire me to help make decisions, move work forward, and protect value.
Direct, honest conversations
Fast identification of what's actually blocking progress
Clear decision rights and accountability
I will tell you what I see — including the part nobody particularly wants to hear.
A bias toward action — not analysis cycles
05 / FOUNDER
Julie Traxler
Founder of Integration Consulting Group and an operator who has spent more than two decades working where strategy meets execution.
Her work spans M&A integration and carve-outs, enterprise transformation, ERP and operational change, project recovery, and now the operating models businesses need to put AI to work intentionally.
She has worked alongside executive teams and deep inside the work itself — building plans, establishing governance, untangling dependencies, challenging status reports that don't reflect reality, and getting complicated initiatives moving again.
